We use a 5 card behavior system. Students start each day on green. We want to try to stay on green all day long. But, if we are not following the classroom rules we may have to flip our card.
Green-Great
Yellow-Warning
Blue-Time out
Red- Call home.
Our classroom rules are:
- Keep hands and feet to self.
- Care for supplies.
- Use kind words.
- Raise your hand to talk.
- Stay in your own space.
We also get opportunities to earn tokens/tickets. We earn tickets for times that we are caught doing something good. We save up to earn special things out of the prize box. It is worthwhile to save up.
